Do your teas contain caffeine?

Some of them do, others don’t. We’ve tried to make it easy and have stated whether or not a blend naturally contains caffeine on its product page and on its packaging. 

Our blends that naturally contain caffeine are:

  • English Breakfast

  • Earl Grey

  • Sencha Green

  • Jasmine Green

Our naturally caffeine free blends are:

  • Dreamland

  • Unwind

  • Mulled Wine

  • Ease

  • Rooibos Chai

  • Chamomile

  • Mintea

Can I have my tea in tea bags?

We sell our tea as loose leaf blends only and do not offer tea bags for a few reasons. 

Firstly, we want to be as kind on the planet as possible, that means not producing unnecessary waste. 

Secondly, we want to be able to offer the best quality tea possible which tea bags don’t allow us to do. Tea bags usually contain ‘dust’ grade tea which doesn’t meet our standard. We use large leaf tea to give you maximum flavour and health benefits. 

And lastly, unfortunately tea bags aren’t always made with your health’s best interests at heart. Some mass market tea bags contain chemical bleaches, glues, staples, plastics and micro fibres that you may ingest - not our cup of tea! 

We offer reusable stainless steel tea infusers that are kinder on your health and the planet. Once you’ve brewed your tea, you can give back to the earth by composting the leaves or adding them to your garden.

Is your tea organic?

Yes! It’s important to us to source the very best ingredients for our blends. All of our teas are made from organic ingredients that our suppliers have had certified. Our ethos is to put people and the planet first. This means we will never use an ingredient that isn’t organic and you’ll never have anything unnatural in your cup. We are currently working on our own organic certifications for complete transparency and aim to have certification numbers at the ready by the end of 2022.

Can your tea address specific health concerns?

We believe plants are medicine and use our teas to assist a healthy lifestyle every day. All organic herbs have the ability to affect your health and wellbeing; we think that is pretty special. We’ve outlined the benefits of each blend on its product page but we are tea lovers, not naturopaths. If you are looking to address a specific concern, we recommend seeking the advice from your naturopath or health professional.

How do I store my tea?

All of our blends come in one of our specially made tins which will protect your tea from sunlight and air to keep it fresh. To make your tea last the longest, we recommend storing it in its tin or an airtight container in a cool, dry place.

Where are your tea’s made?

Our ingredients come from all over the world! A lot of them come from Egypt, South Africa, Sri Lanka, India, China and some from Albania and Ukraine. Once our ingredients arrive in New Zealand, we lovingly hand blend and package them right here in our Auckland tea studio.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

How long does shipping take?

We aim to dispatch your order within 1-2 working days. You can expect your order within 2-5 working days depending on courier services. 

How much does shipping cost?

We offer complimentary shipping on all orders over $99. Otherwise, we charge a $6 flat rate for shipping within New Zealand.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship within New Zealand but we are busy trying to expand this. If you are overseas and would like to order something from On Sundays, please contact us at hello@onsundays.co.nz and we will see if we can arrange something for you.

Is your packaging environmentally friendly?

Yes! We’ve done as much as we can to reduce our environmental footprint. Your tea will arrive in a cardboard box, secured with paper tape - you’ll find no plastic here.

All packaging your tea comes in is also fully recyclable. Our tins are made from tinplate, the same material your canned foods come in; and our stickers are made from paper to omit any use of laminate or plastic.

Do you offer refunds?

We hope you love your On Sundays goods but if for some reason you aren’t completely happy with your order, you may return or exchange your unused and unopened goods within 14 days of purchasing. Contact us at hello@onsundays.co.nz if you would like to arrange a return.

Please note, we do not cover return shipping costs so these are at the customers expense.
